Caroline is so sweet and friendly! The fried chicken is delicious and the service is great! Whenever we pass through Yea we make sure to stop here!
the chicken here is absolutely top tier! the milkshakes are to die for as well, i absolutely loved this place at the first bite of the southern fried chicken and the chicken lasagna. Caroline and her team are incredibly hard working and hospitable, and the effort really shows in their food. Can't wait to come back someday!
Tastey chicken. Keep it fresh Caroline. Caroline is Kenyan born, then lived in Alabama US where she learned the Southern fried chicken. I reckon she should go all our Americana, Cajun even! Put something new in a country town like Yea. Salads are fresh and yum. Price is fair. Take a break from driving, have a sit down meal in the roomy dining area with real cutlery.
I really enjoyed my time here. The food was hot and delicious. You could tell that it was made and prepared with love and care. The menu had a wide selection of yummy meals. The staff was kind/friendly and very welcoming. The furniture was modern and the hygiene was pretty good. The chips we ordered were crispy and golden but were also heavily salted which wasn't very pleasant. That was my only problem. However, I really enjoyed the food and I would definitely go back.
Great service and fantastic food. Plenty of choices. You can sit down or take away. Coffee and tea. Icecream. Potato croquettes with chicken is sensational.
